The Generalate of the Brothers of the Christian Schools - Lasallian Research and Resources Service,  in collaboration with  Cepell, Roma Tre University, AIB (Associazione italiana biblioteche, i.e. Italian Library Association), AsPeI, Forum del Libro, IBBY Italia, joins the International Association of School Librarianship to present the 51st Annual IASL Conference and the 26th International Forum on Research in School Librarianship

Where is IASL 2023 held?

The 2023 IASL Annual Conference is held at (and in collaboration with) the Generalate of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Rome (Italy), via Aurelia 476  ( Zip code: 00165). The venue is close to the "Cornelia" stop of the Metro "A" line (5'/10' walk) and opposite the "Circonvallazione Aurelia" stop of the airport shuttle bus from/to Fiumicino Airport operated by Sitbus). 

Who Attends IASL?

The IASL Annual Conference provides a space for school librarians, public librarians, teachers, administrations, researchers and all others who hold an interest in reading, education and libraries to exchange ideas and practices, meet new colleagues, and reunite with friends.

Why Should I Attend?

This year's program is packed with opportunities for practitioners and researchers (who are warmly invited to submit contribution proposals) to share and learn from each other as we exchange the create and unique ways that we can support flourishing school libraries across the globe.

What Will I Experience?

Attendees will experience innovative workshops, inspiring keynote speakers, informative presentations while also being able to explore the amazing city of Rome, Italy.  The conference will take place at the Generalate of the Brothers of the Christian Schools - http://www.lasalle.org - and attendees can stay right on site at the Casa La Salle - https://www.casalasalle.it/en/, or, as they prefer, in other accommodations in the surroundings.
